You can't go wrong with a cafe that has everything that's made fresh to order! I would highly suggest getting the cookies because they're baked first thing in the morning! And since my diet is extremely strict & they were so friendly & patient to all my questions/ request. The coffee is delicious! Tastes freshly brewed every time! I would highly suggest paying them a visit! “ Discovering New Favorites in West Covina: Cafe Valer Since moving from the Bay Area to West Covina, we’ve been exploring the area and discovering new favorite spots. One of these gems is Cafe Valer, just outside the West Covina Mall, which we had the pleasure of trying today. We ordered the Spicy Chicken Wrap and the Spicy Sirloin Wrap—both delicious! My daughter and I shared so we could sample different options. The flavors were fresh and savory, and the spice added a perfect kick. Even though we visited during lunchtime when it was busy, the wait was short, and the food was definitely worth it. We chose to dine in, and I was impressed by the friendly service. The staff brought our food directly to the table and checked in to see if we needed napkins or anything else before they left. Overall, I’d give Cafe Valer an 8.5 out of 10. It’s a great spot for a light, tasty lunch, and I’ll definitely be returning! If you’re in West Covina, I’d recommend giving it a try. ”

“ Great paninis, amazing coffee. I've been coming here for a couple years and every time I do the food tastes great and the coffee is fresh. They've been open through the pandemic for to-go orders, and they currently have tables outside for patio seating (though it is limited). This cafe is always busy for good reason and I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.It is located right next to the mall entrance, by the parking structure, so if you are wary of being indoors you can always enter through their patio door. ”

“ Firstly, the food here is exceptional. The prices are very reasonable and offer great value. It's the food though. You just can't beat the food. My favorite is the garlic chicken panini and it's incredible. The service is fantastic and the staff is super friendly. The desserts are also amazing. ”

“ From time to time I’ll have Cafe Valer with a coworker because we’re craving it, but also because it has a lovely outdoor atmosphere. It’s very accessible, usually with ample parking in the nearby parking garage, so you can always park close. I usually get the Garlic Chicken Pesto sandwich, and it always satisfies my taste buds. I can’t recall the taste now, but I’m writing this review while craving it again. I also like their strawberry banana smoothie. They give you a thin straw so it lasts longer. ”
